Belinda B. Lazzara

Belinda B. Lazzara is an experienced litigator who appreciates the benefits of a well-negotiated out-of-court resolution to a case.  Belinda offers representation and mediation services in Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, and the surrounding Tampa Bay counties through her law firm Lazzara Family Law in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

Excellence in the legal profession is Belinda’s priority.   She has chaired the Marital and Family Law Certification Committee of The Florida Bar.  She is also a long-time active member of the Executive Council of The Family Law Section of The Florida Bar, having chaired many Section committees and served on the Section’s Legislation Committee.  Belinda has also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Pinellas County Community Law Program, and on the Board of Governors of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division 2006 through 2011. 

Helping Florida’s families is at the heart of Belinda’s practice.  Belinda has served as a Guardian ad Litem in the 6th Judicial Circuit since 1999 providing a voice to the best interests of minor children involved in family law cases.

Her peers and the community have acknowledged Belinda’s leadership.  She was awarded the Newcomer Award from the Community Law Program in 2001 and 2003.  She was listed as a Rising Star of Family Law from 2009 through 2011.  Also, Belinda served as a special magistrate on the Pinellas County Value Adjustment Board from 2007 through 2017.
